I hadn’t listened to Joyner Lucas’s album ADHD in full until tonight, and it was quite an experience to take it all in. Tracks like Isis, I Love, ADHD, and Will really stood out with their powerful mix of emotion and skill.

Still, I was a bit disappointed by the inclusion of Finally, especially because it features Chris Brown. Having an artist with a past involving domestic violence feels out of place in an album about personal growth. It’s a challenge for people like me, who want to support positive messages but not problematic artists.

Joyner Lucas is a good musician. I remembered listening to his wonderful lyrics on the “I'm not a racist” track. He’s been making music that is very passionate and emotional. He's also received praise on the music he sang with Eminem on “Lucky You” in Kamikaze.

I also heard that he has participated in a couple of rap competitions. I don't know how true this is, if you have any information on this, i’ll like to know about it.

He’s well known for making rap remixes of other people’s music. Having said that, my favorite track in ADHD is Screening Evaluation. It's a nice intro to the album. He made this song to tell a story of his ADHD issues and setbacks.

I like some of the songs in there but "The War" is disconnected. He keeps rapping and I noticed that his words are not confirming. Did anyone notice that? This track has no life and the beats are off. I was expecting more. Each time I listened to the album, I skipped that part.

Gold Mine is a song that I found very interesting. In this song, he talks about how people can carelessly cripple those that are suffering from the symptoms of ADHD. It was a very good track with good messages embedded. I wish you could hear me sing it loud as I type.🤣

This album is not impressive. It's got a bunch of songs just talking about the same thing. It was all repetitive. It was like watching a TV show with all the characters saying the same thing all through. I’m rating this album 1/5.
