It is always overwhelming to begin a fitness journey. You wouldn't know where to start from. But trust me, it is not a difficult task. I started with the basics, and later advanced to flexibility excersises.

I'll advise to start with power walking and pushups. You don't need any equipment to start.
 
It all depends on what you want to achieve from working out that's going to determine how you're going to start and the best drills for you.

When I hit the gym, it was my main focus to work on my core and abs. 80% of the drills that I used was targeted at my core and abs muscle.
