Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
This is the only movie ever made based on the book "The Collector". I read the book and I was stunned by it. It's such a good psychological thriller. The movie portrayed it somewhat fine for the time it has been released, even quoting some book sentences. But it lacks many key points and views (insight) of Miranda. The dynamic duo is better covered in the book, of course, but I recommend watching the movie as well and then, if interested, read the book.

Maybe I must be under impression still, but this is one of the best thrillers I've seen.
