Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper and his wife, Nicole, have committed $3 million through their foundation to support immediate and long-term Hurricane Helene relief efforts in the Carolinas after the Category 4 storm.
With the region still in a state of emergency and over 50 lives lost, the need for assistance is critical. The Teppers' donation will help provide essential resources to the hardest-hit areas.
"The David & Nicole Tepper Foundation, Carolina Panthers, and Charlotte FC stand alongside all those who have been affected by Hurricane Helene and the devastation it has wrought across the southeast, and particularly in our backyard throughout the Carolinas," said David and Nicole Tepper in a release.
Tepper, who bought the Panthers in 2018, has used his foundation to assist a variety of local organizations. The funds will go to food banks, pantries, community foundations, and other service agencies throughout the Carolinas.
"This is our home and we are committed to supporting relief efforts throughout the region by providing critical resources and aiding the efforts of our heroic first responders," the Teppers said. "The impact on our community has been severe, but Carolinians are resilient and courageous, and together, we will rebuild and recover."

Florida Panthers should chip in too they just won the Stanley Cup. That hurricane is crazy. I've seen houses flooded on Tiktok.
I'm sure with the owner, the team will do something.

You have to gather that it's a business opportunity too. The quicker the place is fixed up, the more people can get back to watching home games without that financial stress.

Home games where beer is $20 a cup. 😄
