Some movies are overly overrated and didn't really live up to the hype. I've seen a couple movie trailers that got me hooked and when I watched, I was disappointed in the end. Here is the list of what I've got and why it's overrated
1. Avatar (2009) - it's a good movie but it made this list because of its predictable plot.
2. The Shawshank Redemption (1994) - I mean, it was really overhyped but the pacing is way too slow
3. Titanic (1997) - don't get me wrong, Titanic is a good movie but the romance overshadows its real meaning. I mean, its historical significance.
