I'm one of the main culprits if we are talking about those who easily sleep off in a bus when they are going somewhere. This happens especially when I have to be in the bus for more than 1 hour. I'll certainly sleep off before I reach my destination.

How often do you ever sleep off in a bus?

Well yes I’ve been there before. It has happened to me several times. Fortunately I had not missed my bus stops once.

There is also a time I dozed off on a long distance bus and slept throughout the journey. I opened my eyes and for a moment, I even asked myself where I was and the time of the day. The man sitting next to me on the bus laughed and said that I was snoring throughout that time.

However, now I can at least learn how to laugh at it. At times we just need to get some sleep. These days I set an alarm or ask people around to wake me up at the stop so that I wouldn’t oversleep.

One time.

My friends and I partied all night and were low on cash the next day. I assured them I knew the bus system and which bus would get us back to where we needed to go. We passed out on the bus and woke up at the bus station. It turned out, it wasn't the right bus and the bus station we arrived at was in the opposite direction that we needed to go. So, I called my girlfriend (wife) and she translated what had happened. The bus station felt sorry for us and gave us tickets to drop us back off where we got on.

Suffice it to say, we didn't wait for the right bus and took a taxi back instead. It was a good 2-hour nap, so at the end, we were all just hung over and wanted that taxi to get us back as soon as possible so we could get in bed.

I could have imagined the looks on you guys faces when you all woke up in the morning. It would have been very funny like where the heck are we? 🤣

It was a good thing the bus station was safe because people have their things stolen by pickpockets in that kind of situations.

Well, every time I am on a long bus journey (that takes more than 4 hours), I easily fall asleep. I do not have problem in falling asleep in a bus. In fact I like to sleep in the bus because it makes travel less boring

I have a friend who doesn't like to travel alone because he doesn't want to be bored while on the bus. It can really get boring especially on longer bus trip. If it was flight, the journey wouldn't take long as long it's not an international flight.
