No one is above being sacked from their jobs. This means that all are liable of being sacked at their jobs for one reason or another.

For example, a lot of people have been sacked as a result of the companies where they're employed adopting the use of AI and advanced technology to do some work.

Have you ever been sacked from your job?

I was a government contractor and lost my security clearance for 2 years, so they reluctantly had to let me go to abide by their contract, even though I could still physically access the building to report in for work.

No fault given to them as they tried to keep me, but they just couldn't.

I've resigned from two top positions in two different companies I worked in years ago. The first one was in an Advertising Agency. I was the Head of Marketing & Sales Department. I had to leave the job when I had a better offer from another.

The second one was from a Managerial position in a Sex Toy company. I had a broken relationship with the company's owner. I had to leave.

I have resigned and left when new opportunities have opened up. I am always looking after myself, so it has never been difficult for me to do this.

I have never been fired in the traditional sense, but it has happened softly.

A client I used to work with told me they were switching to AI for some of the tasks I was handling for them, and they told me they would let me know if they had tasks they wanted me or a human to handle.

Suffice to say, that stream dried up and even though they never fired me in the traditional sense, the outcome is still the same.

It has happened to me and it was during COVID -19. This isn't peculiar to me as many people lose their jobs too. Yes, I understand that it was for a reasons. When it happened to me, I brace up and looked for a new job, and it was even better.

It's a common thing. Anyone can lose their job. We need to know that it's not because they're not good enough, but companies might just need to make changes sometimes. Losing your job doesn't mean you're not talented because it has happened to me before.

No, I have never been shacked from my job but I have quit my jobs many times due to various reasons. Some of the reasons were: I was bored or I did not like the colleges, I was paid less, or I disliked the boss.
