Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
It's a Friday night and a short (1 hour and 36 minutes) horror flick, Evil Dead Rise, dropped in at #9 on Netflix's Top 10 movies in the U.S. today.

I think I found the winner for tonight.

It's rated 6.5/10 on IMDb with 146K reviews (76% on the Popcornmeter — the only metric I use on Rotten Tomatoes since critic reviews are crap), so I'm hoping it lives up to that and doesn't turn out to be a cheesy movie.

I haven't been on Netflix in a while, so I don't know when it was released.

Has anybody caught this movie before, on Netflix or elsewhere? What was your take?

Evil Dead Rise is one of the scariest movies I have watched in a while. A horror movie never gets to me like this one. The other time, I was dead dreaming about this movie; I just couldn't close my eyes without seeing the spirit that was taking over people's bodies in the movie🤣. Probably the scariest I have watched. I like how it was put together.
