Playing online video games makes it possible for you to make friends from different parts of the world. Have you been able to hook up with any of your online game's friends in real life?

How did the meeting go? How was the connection with them in real life compared to how they are online?

Absolutely! Some of the friends I have made playing online games, I have met in person. The rapport we had is what carried us over to seeing each other face-to-face. We even talked about things we have in common and we laughed as if we have known each other for ages. It was great to meet people we have been interacting with online. It's all fun.

I don't rush phasing my online gaming friends to physical friends until I'm absolutely convinced it's worth it with the person. A lot of people can pretend so much online which makes them dangerous.

Not exactly. I don't really form bromances with people I play games with. We might discuss about a few personal things, but that is as far is it goes.

It's a mixed feeling for me because it’s been okay for me in some ways but not so good in other ways. I met one that approached me as an absolute stranger and I have also met the other person who became one of my best friends in real life.

I am not sure if I can call them friends because I don't frequently communicate with them but I have met a lot of people in real life whom I first met while playing games.

Yes, I used to play n an online Mortal Kombat tournament some time ago, and one day we decided to meet at a local arcade to play face to face. We ended up becoming friends, but some of the relationships have faded as the years have gone by.

I have never met any of my online friends physically. It is really dangerous and I ensure the relationship is strictly online.
